Joleen has worked for Attorney Ronald S. Schmidt for 34 years. She attended San Antonio College and received her Associates in Business Technology in May 1975. In March 1983 Joleen passed the formal examination prescribed by the National Association of Legal Secretaries and obtained her certification as a Professional Legal Secretary (PLS). On May 1, 1987, Joleen fulfilled the prescribed requirements and successfully completed the required examination through the National Association of Legal Assistants to become qualified to provide Certified Legal Assistant services and is entitled to use the designation of Certified Legal Assistant (CLA). In 1989 Joleen was admitted to the Legal Assistants Division of the State Bar of Texas.
